corporate fly fishing trips

Whether you're planning a corporate retreat, entertaining clients, rewarding employees, celebrating with friends, or organizing a larger family outing, Colorado River Outfitters makes it easy to get your group on the water. We handle the guides, equipment, river selection, and fishing logistics so your group can focus on enjoying an unforgettable day in Colorado.

Built To Handle Groups

CRO regularly coordinates trips that require multiple guides, boats, and different experience levels. Our professional guide team allows us to break larger parties into smaller groups, giving every guest the personal attention and quality fishing experience they'd receive on a standard CRO trip.

From complete beginners to experienced anglers, we can organize the day so everyone feels comfortable, included, and challenged at the appropriate level. Behind the scenes, our team coordinates guide assignments, equipment, fishing locations, timing, and other logistics to keep the experience organized from beginning to end.

More Than A Day Of Fishing

Fly fishing gives groups something that's increasingly hard to find: a chance to disconnect from the normal routine and spend meaningful time together outdoors. A day on the river creates natural opportunities for conversation, friendly competition, learning something new, and sharing an experience that doesn't feel like another scheduled corporate activity.

CRO group trips are a great fit for:

  • Corporate retreats and team outings

  • Client entertainment

  • Employee appreciation and rewards

  • Sales teams and leadership groups

  • Conferences and business travelers

  • Bachelor parties and celebrations

  • Family reunions

  • Groups of friends

Corporate Trip FAQ's

  • How many people can CRO accommodate for a corporate or group trip?
CRO can accommodate groups of many different sizes by coordinating multiple professional guides and boats when necessary. For larger parties, we recommend contacting us as early as possible so we can reserve the appropriate number of guides and equipment for your date.

  • Does everyone in our group need fly fishing experience?
Not at all. Corporate and group trips are often made up of anglers with completely different experience levels. Our guides are experienced instructors and can teach complete beginners while providing more advanced guidance for experienced anglers.

  • Can our group do both float and walk-and-wade trips?
Yes. Depending on your group size, location, river conditions, and goals, we can help determine whether float trips, walk-and-wade trips, or a combination of the two makes the most sense. Visit our Float Trips and Wade Trips pages for more information about each experience.

  • What does CRO provide for our group?
CRO provides the essential fishing equipment needed for your trip, including rods, reels, flies, tackle, waders and boots when necessary, boats for float trips, safety equipment, and professional instruction. We'll let your group know exactly what to bring before your trip.

  • Where can CRO host corporate and group fly fishing trips?
We offer guided trips across several Colorado fisheries, with options convenient to groups staying in Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Glenwood Springs, Denver, Colorado Springs, and surrounding areas. We'll help select the river and meeting location that work best for your group and current fishing conditions.

  • How far in advance should we book a corporate or group trip?
We recommend planning larger trips as early as possible, particularly during the busy summer season. Coordinating multiple guides, boats, and equipment requires more preparation than a standard trip. Even if your preferred date is approaching, give us a call—we may still be able to accommodate your group.
