Locally owned and operated Colorado River Outfitters is located on the banks of the Colorado River in Bond, CO. We offer both float fishing and wade fishing trips year round. Our professional guides offer a brilliant knowledge of our local rivers, entomology and feeding habits of wild trout. We love our rivers, we love to fly fish and we love to guide. It’s simply our passion.

Colorado River Outfitters is a fully licensed, insured and bonded Outfitter. We operate under Special Permits from the State of Colorado‘s Division of Wildlife, Division of Parks & Outdoor Recreation and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. Our areas of operation include the Colorado, Eagle, Roaring Fork and Frying Pan Rivers.

 In an effort to help protect our local rivers against Aquatic Nuisance Species, Colorado River Outfitters will be exclusively using the new Simms Stream Tread Sole Technology wading boots. “If we protect the fish, the fishing will take care of itself."

We are excited about our new 2011 fleet of fly fishing boats featuring ClackaCraft Drift Boats & Aire Super Puma Rafts. We have customized our fleet for your safety and comfort. We use only the best equipment the industry offers and have the safest and most experienced float guides in the Vail Valley.
